Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) training is
designed to help you learn and develop the skill of self-compassion. MSC teaches core principles and
practices which enable participants to respond to difficult experiences in their
lives with kindness, care and understanding. Three key components of
self-compassion are: self-kindness, a sense of common humanity, and balanced,
mindful awareness. Together they comprise a state of warm-hearted, connected
provides emotional strength and resilience, allowing us to face our
shortcomings, motivate ourselves with kindness, forgive ourselves when needed,
relate wholeheartedly to others and be more authentically ourselves.

I have practiced meditation and mindfulness since 2003
and trained to became a Mindfulness Teacher in 2009. Since 2012 I have had the
good fortune to be trained by the founders of MSC: Kristin Neff, Ph.D and
Christopher Germer, Ph.D., alongside the team at University San Diego Center
for Mindful Self-Compassion. I am qualified to teach
Mindful-Self-Compassion Training and I have a Doctorate in Cultivating
Mindful Self-compassion. I am delighted to offer courses and workshops in
Essex, East Anglia and beyond.
To support past and present MSC students, MSC Practice Workshops will be
held during the year on Mondays from 7 to 9pm. Cost is £20.
